Sept 25, 2006 - What do we mean by cross-eyes and blurred
vision? It's my understanding
they're both acceptable. Cross-eyed is a way to describe it for people
who have never done it before.
You cross your eyes until you get into that blurred
vision state. It will feel different for everybody. The term blurred
vision works for me now, but when we first started, it didn't--but
cross-eyed did.
It was a way to tell people how to start putting
their vision into that position. A'sha at one of the first workshops I
went to said something about crossing your eyes until you get to that
blurred vision state.
However, there are 12 different positions for looking at codes. They
each do different things--don't ask me what they are, because I
don't know. But A'sha said it's something you can play around with.
However, Jo, the main thing is YOU KNOW that the blurred vision works
and that it's a "way of crossing the eyes." We are given the term
cross-eyed--then it's up to us to find the correct spot "for us"
that cross-eyed describes.
